The girl who turned into a bedby *aiki-ame

This is for my illustration assignment where we have to draw two illustrations depicting a poem. The poem i chose was Tim Burton's The Girl Who Turned Into a Bed:

It happened that day
she picked up a strange pussy willow.
Her head swelled up white
and a soft as a pillow.

Her skin, which had turned
all flaky and rotten,
was now replaced
with 100% cotton.

Through her organs and torso
she sprouted like wings,
a beautiful set
of matress and springs.

It was so terribly strange
that I started to weep.
But at least after that
I had a nice place to sleep

i've adopted a more cartoony style coz our tutor didn't like manga....he said "all manga girls have big empty eyes that look like they stare into nothing." WTFLOL.......

All done in watercolor (very expensive too. lol) and took me two whole days...>A<;; original size of each is A3.
